I had a great Monday

Yesterday was a great day well for a Monday!!  Little things can make me so happy lol
I have been looking for a  large skillet for a while.  I have a set of nice pans but I bought a very large  skillet for making bacon and other things but  you all know I cook lots of bacon. lol I thought about a griddle  but do not have storage space here.  This is what I got Click here and take a look -------->  LODGE GRIDDLE and Sam is tickled to it is made in the USA too.  I love it and it will not take up to much room. I got it at J.C. Penny's  and had a $10.00 off coupon too so I paid $21.00 with tax !!!!   Then I went to Myers and a VERY nice lady said she did not need the coupons and gave me her 2  $20.00 prescription ones !!!!  what a great day I was having !   I  finished my shopping in a good mood and was blessed with 2 MORE $20.00  coupons !!!  lol   It all came to a end when I got home and  my flowers had been blown off the porch so when I put the stuff away I wen out and got them and  picked up the plant and  then turned around to get the flower and put it in the pot and look what was in it !!!  OMG I about lost it !!!!!!
Of coerce I did not see it tell I had already moved it and had my hand in the dirt next to it! I was freaked out all night ! We had a good nite we watched The Voice and then most of Black list too. i woke up to this  :(

The pot is still there but I bet the snake is gone !!  Have a great day. I think I will make White Chicken Chile but not sure yet!

Closet cleaning and Apple Pie Moonshine

I'm cleaning out one more closet today.  this one there going to have to paint too. There is  mold in it on the walls from all the rain we have been getting. I
I'm just cleaning and doing some sewing today on my jeans quilt.

I did finish the Apple pie Moonshine and it is good too.

Apple Pie Moonshine is probably the most popular and sought after type of bootleg whiskey ever made, and for good reason - it's delicious. We've already posted procedures for making a basic mash and even instructions on making peach moonshine. Here is our favorite (high octane) apple pie moonshine recipe:

Ingredients:

1 quart of 120 proof, pure corn whiskey moonshine (everclear could be used as a substitute - but that ain't moonshine!)
1-2 cans of frozen apple concentrate*
2-4 cinnamon sticks*
1-2 cups brown sugar*

*Depending on how sweet you want it to be, you may add up to twice as much of these particular items (in other words, 2 cans of concentrate and 2 cups of sugar instead of 1).

Directions (assuming that your shine is stored in quart jars):

First, add the apple concentrate, cinnamon sticks and brown sugar to a pot.  Bring to a boil and then simmer for 60 minutes.  Stir a few times as it is heating up to dissolve the sugar.  Note, you could simmer for only 20 minutes, but you'd want to leave the jar sit for a couple of weeks before drinking to allow it to season.  Heating it longer in the pot (60 minutes) will cause the cinnamon sticks to release their flavor very quickly, allowing you to be able to drink it immediately.  I like to call this the "instant satisfaction" method.

After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let it cool.  Make sure it is completely cool, and none of the burners on the stove are on before moving on to the next step.

After the mixture has cooled, add 2 pint jars (or one quart jar) to the mixture and stir it up a bit.  Remember, 100+ proof moonshine is flammable.  You do not want to do this anywhere near a heat source.
