Winter carnival in the Park

this week they are having a winter carnival in the park with lots of stuff every day but the big thing is Saturday and I will be at my craft show. today I will be doing the poker run LOL  with the bike but you can walk or take the golf carts too. yesterday they have horseshoe tournament and a shuffle board one too. They have a WII bowling tournament, corn hole tournament, Bingo and lots of other things too.
  It is raining today so not sure what I can get done but hope I get the new Stencils I ordered last week today so I can make some new ones. 

I bought some glass markers and hope to do some free hand stuff.

More work on the patio

Sam and I spent the day building a display for the wind-chimes

When we got that done I got him to put up the signs I have done... I love it !!!! Now I have 4 more days to get ready for the show and  one of my neighbors came by and bought 3 from me  and now it puts me even further behind.

Back to drilling and sanding ;)

Corn plant blooms

COLD !!!!!!!

It was so cold last night. we had to cover ALL plants or bring them in. Down to 31 for 2 hours and that is colder then it has been in a long time here. Any way life goes on. better here then most places. Kylie came and stayed the night with us while her mom and dad went to see Luke Bryan. We had a blast but sure wish it would be warm some time when she is here. We made a mosaic starfish and it turned out great !!!

Glad we are in Florida this week LOL

From all the post on Facebook it is a mess all over the country.. I go my back sun burned yesterday while I was working on my turtle on the front porch.  I put one more coat of varnish on the signs today and Sam laid 2 more pavers. :) he fished for a while and then went and got his hair cut. I worked on more wind chimes.

This is my newest project  to mess with when I am not doing my wind chimes :) I was working on it today in the sun and go sun burnt on my back.

the patio is about done !!!

well we can now enjoy the patio . It is raining so cant today but will soon. The hawk is here every day now so I am getting some real good shots and he is getting use to me too.

Nutella Fudge –

Ingredients
½ cup salted butter (you can use unsalted, but the salt brings out the sweetness)
½ cup whole milk or half and half
1½ cups light brown sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Nutella
2½ cups – 3 cups confectioner’s sugar
Instructions
Grease an 8×8 pan. Place the confectioner’s sugar in a mixing bowl and set aside.
Melt butter over medium low heat. Add the milk and light brown sugar. Bring to a hard, rolling boil over medium heat and then boil for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and quickly add the vanilla and Nutella. Stir until the Nutella is melted.
Carefully pour the hot Nutella mixture over the confectioner’s sugar and mix quickly until completely combined. Once everything comes together, it will set pretty fast. If your fudge is liquid-y, add more powdered sugar. Pour/scoop the fudge into your greased 8×8 pan. Press the fudge into the pan, if needed. Chill for 2 hours.

More work on the patio

We got 2 loads of sand put in the back for the patio and are about ready to start putting the blocks down.

 had a hawk come right up to me today while I was out there too.... 

We went to the Moose for tacos and Buzz, Cindy, George, his son Dennis and a friend of theirs went also.
