Too Icy for me to drive

Well I will have to go to work late or not at all today as the roads are BAD !  There is 2 places on I 75 that are closed down for 18 wheeler wrecks on the way  that I cant get around. If it is to bad for them I know I do not need to be out there. So I have started laundry and will get some stuff done here.

Well I have missed one more week.  LOL 
  I'm still working and they have offered me a CHANCE to  go to permanent. I have to finish the on line application today. Sunday we went to Golden corral and then watched the race and Dale Jr. won the Daytona 500 !!!! I'm going to try to go to the Chiro today and get some other stuff done,

Millionaire Pie

Ingredients

• 1 prepared graham cracker crust
• 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
• 1 can (15.25oz) crushed pineapple, well drained
• 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained & chopped
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1 can sweetened (Eagle Brand) Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 5 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice
• 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (plus extra for garnish if desired)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine coconut, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries, pecans, (Eagle Brand) Sweetened Condensed Milk, lemon juice and maraschino cherry juice.
2. Gently fold in whipped topping. Pour into crust.
3. Top with additional whipped topping and cherries if desired. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight

I'm a slacker

It is only Feb. and already  it had been a week since my last post :(.

   Well it has been a week with out Cameron, He has been with a new girlfriend that seems like a good one. and working for Kenny also.
   Work is good but not sure how much longer it will last. Every day they lay off more and with this weather the main hubs are closed and we just do not have the work.  every day they ask us to take voluntary time off about every hour. So I have had a slow week and had time off too. I took off one day and got some good photos at the park.

Friday was Valentines Day and as soon as we got to work they ask us if we wanted to go home.:( well I was not going to get up at 5 AM and drive 45 min. for nothing so I said NO.  and at 8 A.M they asked again :(  and again I said not but we had a storm coming in and I knew I would leave by lunch. lol So at lunch I took off and went to the Union Hall and then to Trader Joe's  I got me some flowers and  some other good stuff.   

Today we slept in and then went to Cracker Barrel about 2 and I had the biggest breakfast they had !!! lol and it was great . We did get more snow today but it has milted  and this week is going to be warmer then it has been in months !!! So here is a few more photos and I hope to  post more often.

 We watched the 1st NASCAR race tonight and then the end of the Wildcats game and  I'm going to call it a night.  ;)

More talk about Snow

Seems like all I do is chat about winter and more snow.  I hope to keep my job but it is not looking too good. they are calling for snow all week.  here are some photos I took on the way to the Dr, yesterday and some when I got home today. I'm off tell Tuesday and then we will see if the snow is to bad to get to work or not.

Well it is another Weekend and  they say we are getting more snow again. It is raining now and going to change to ice and then snow :( I hope it is only 3"
