Day 178

I went to Point Pleasant today to get the liquor and go to the place that tinted my windows. They were closed.... there are some bubbles and stuff that I don't like . Other people said there good about fixing them.. Any way that will have to be another trip.. I got me a new laptop bag that is black and pink inside.. 15.00 at Grand View.. I am sitting in the libary and took this photo .. It is a cool one.. All I need is a ashtray and a drink LMAO

Thursday I think !!!

I'm back in WV.. It was a wet ride too. I stopped twice to let it slowdown. I was driving 35 to 40 and still could not see. Anyway I'm here. I did get a good mess of beans out of the garden last night and they were so sweet.. I spent the morning filling out the bird feeders All them and watering everything again. My herbs look great too. Sam will be home soon. Have a good day !!!

I'm Home !!!

I drove home today and as always I saw some thing to take a photo of.. As you remember I just got the windows tinted so I could not unroll them. there were lots of people honking and scarring them but I did get some photos of the turkey..

When I got home the yard and garden was out of control. I spent the day outside I LOVED IT TOO.. I got lots of sun. I mowed the yard, tilled the garden. Picked zucchini, yellow squash, and cucumbers. I had to toss lots of them because there too big. I picked the peas and pulled them up. I got a good mess of them. The wild flowers at the end of the garden look great.....

Then I washed the car and did all the laundry.





I love and hate being home !! I love to be outside all day and just piddling around but I miss Sam and hate to sleep alone. To top it off it is 10 pm and I have not heard for him yet.. I know he is asleep on the couch but it still bugs me not knowing if he even made it home. I for sure will call him at 5 AM LOL that's 30 minutes before the alarm goes off. He will need that 30 minutes to fix his lunch that I usually make LMAO !! Have a great evening..

Tinted Windows

I got my windows tinted today..I have asked to get it done and last night Sam said " when are you going to get it done "??? He will be surprised tonight when he gets home !!! I think it looks so so much better. What do you think ?? I LOVE IT !!!


I had about 3 hours to kill in Point pleasant with out a car so I took a walking tour. The flood wall is going great. I remember the last time Sam worked up here 3 years ago it was only about 1000 feet painted, now it is almost a mile. There is a stage right on the rive where they have outdoor concerts too. It is a really neat town with lots of consignment shops and antiques also.





This is a flood wall on the other side of the river, not the one that is painted.

Happy Fathers Day

We had a great Fathers day. We went golfing here in Mason. At the club house we ran into a guy Sam works with with his 5 year old son. We invited them to golf with us, and the little one almost beat ME !!! He was such a joy !! look how cute he is too. He only used the driver and the putter but he was good. I think he is a up and coming Tiger.




After that we stopped at he VFW and the came home and watched the end of the NASCAR race. we did not win this week. Hope you all had a great weekend and I loved having the day with Sam,It was the 1st day off in 3 weeks...

Today I took a walk again and came back to the trailer to do some scrapping. I even organized my scrapbook kits . About 1:30 the whole trailer shook and there was a explosion.. The 1st thing I though is one of the 3 power houses here on the river had a explosion. well it was the bridge pillers they blasted.. I have been trying to find out when they were going to do it, I missed it but there gone now.

Sam came home at 3 today and we went to the moose for all you can eat burgers and hot dogs. they had lots of good salads also good deserts too. We picked up our 40.00 from winning 3rd place in the Nascar pool...

I worked on the new computer today and installed most of the programs. The storms are bad here tonight.

I went to this Mc Donalds and went down to the water and drank my Hazelnut ice coffee. Sam will probable get rained out tomorrow. Hope we can have a relaxing afternoon.

Monday I took the Toshiba laptop back and took a trip to Huntington.. I got a Dell Inspiron 15. It is a little smaller but has a dual core and 3 gigs of ram. It is a pretty blue and very shiny. the fingerprints show bad.
On the way this time I saw a deer in the swamp LOL reminds me of Florida every time I go past it too.
I stood up through the sun roof in the car and took the photos. :) the cars going by were giggleing I'm sure but it sure is good not to have to get out of the car any more when I'm alone....


I drought a feeder back with me and already have a hummer..

I walked 5 MILES today

I came back to Mason last night. I got up this morning and this is what was out the window..

then I went across the river to Palmroy Ohio. there is a great walking trail along the river and it even tells you how far you have gone. I got to 2 1/2 and went back .


on the way I saw this little groundhog he was gathering leaves and grass.

Back home

I drove home this morning to get the yard mowed and the garden taken car of. I have fresh cucumbers,onions,summer squash and some peas too.



BTW I got a new laptop want to see it???
Look have I just installed too. Now I can't wait to get back to W.V. to play


I have work to get done I don't know if I will stay here or drive back. Will post again later if I stay..

Thursday

Well I got to the library today and it is raining very hard so Sam will be back to the trailer soon.
I need to go home and mow and get the mail too. It is raining there to so I will wait. On the way home I'm going to get my new laptop and at home I'm installing my PSCS4 so I can play.. I hate this no scrapping thing.... LOL Have a great day
I got this in the mail and miss Coltons 8th grade Graduation !! I can't believe he is that old !!!

Wensnesday

Today was very rainy and Sam got rained out at lunch today.. we rested up and then went to the VFW then strolled through Walmart. We had a pizza that was not very good. We came home and watched a movie and we are both ready for bed. I hope to get to upload the photos tomorrow.
Look at that table and chair !! they don't make them like that ant more. Yes that is a ashtry, drink, laptop, and nicotine patches. I'm still trying but it is very hard when I drink..

Tuesday the Pomeroy bridge

this is a update on the bridge here in Mason w.v. They are drilling the cement part to put dinomite in it to bolw them up. I hope I can get that photo. the new brige is finished. We were here 3 years ago befor they started on it too. I'm still here with my HD and having a blast..
I cant scrap much and Sam told me to go get me a laptop I can use up here.. LOL I love him so much.. I have looked around here but have my eye on one in Huntington and will get it the next time I go home to check the mail and mow the yard. It is a I hope it is a good one. I have read the reviews and it all looks good. It is only about $400.00 with a printer if I get it before wen. next week. so I hope to be back scrapping next week.

Hillbilly Hotdogs

I finally stopped at hillbilly hot dogs. I have seen it on the food network and other shows but never stopped. I was never sure if the food was going to be as good as they said.. You could spend the day there just looking around. What a place and the food was not bad. I will order something different next time because I did not realize it came with mustard on it. It was good but would be better with out it.. They have 3 stores all around Huntington W.V. They also have a 15 pound hamburger and a 3 pound loaded hot dog on the menu that was seen on the food network. I even met Sonny the owner.

LOL we both are back smoking. I'm in Ohio at a library doing this now. We moved into a 2 bedroom 1 bath trailer for $135.00 a WEEK !!!! wait tell I upload the photos of it.. I'm still looking for something better. The people around her know the union construction workers make good $$ and take full advantage of it because we cant sign a 1 year lease.We will be here for about 6 to 8 more weeks. At least we are together every night. I have to call the internet people Monday I found a coupon for 19.00 a month and we might do that..
We have one window AC in the front and the room is at the back of the trailer. I really reminds me of MINE in FL.. you can see us living in it...'

Just checking in

Very busy week. I have move to Mason WV with Sam. He is working 7 days a week now and Joshua is not at home anymore. Sam Did not like the idea of me home in Ky alone all the time. He misses me too. We moved into a cracker box trailer in a not to good of a area I think. well someone around here has Internet.. I will go to the library later to upload photos of it. We went to the Dr. yesterday and Sam got a good bill of health. Every thing was good. We are smoking again but Sam said he will stop this week. Have a good day.

day 153 of 365 day 2 with out a smoke !!!

this is Day 3 for Sam and it is not looking good for me.. I think Sam is stronger them me. :( I went and got these today I hope they help.

Today the police stopped a car out front and took the girl to jail and the guy walked off after about a hour.. I put the linoleum down in the laundry room and mowed the grass. I'm trying to stay busy.
